About Rasha’s Project

My ThingLink project focused on creating an interactive and immersive e& Education Portfolio experience for both our internal sales teams and customers. Instead of presenting static catalogs or traditional presentations, I transformed panoramic visuals into interactive 360° learning environments where users can explore future-ready classrooms, robotics labs, drone labs, smart learning spaces, and educational technology solutions in an engaging way.

The experience allows schools and universities to better visualize how their campuses could be equipped, explore different technologies interactively, and make more informed decisions about the solutions that best fit their needs. Through ThingLink, the project became more than a catalog — it became an immersive educational journey that can also be experienced through VR headsets for a deeper level of engagement.

What inspired you to create this?

I was inspired by the idea of transforming how educational solutions are presented to schools and universities. In many cases, customers struggle to imagine how technologies such as robotics labs, drone labs, smart classrooms, immersive learning tools, and AI-powered solutions would actually look and function within their learning environments.

I wanted to bridge that gap by creating an experience that helps users visualize the future of education instead of simply reading about it. The creation process was both exciting and creative. I used panoramic visuals and transformed them into immersive 360° environments using ThingLink’s interactive capabilities. I added clickable hotspots, informational tags, visuals, and layered content to guide users through the experience in a meaningful and intuitive way.

One of the most exciting aspects was seeing how a static image could evolve into a fully interactive immersive environment that users could explore independently — especially when viewed through VR headsets. ThingLink gave me the flexibility to combine storytelling, visualization, and immersive learning into one seamless experience.

How is this project experienced?

The project was used as both a customer engagement and sales enablement experience within the education sector. Our sales teams used it during discussions with schools and universities to showcase e&’s end-to-end education solutions in a more engaging and innovative way. Instead of relying on traditional brochures or slide decks, customers were able to virtually step inside future-ready learning spaces and interact with the technologies directly through the immersive experience. One of the biggest highlights was how easily users could understand and visualize complex educational ecosystems through exploration rather than explanation.

The immersive format sparked more meaningful conversations around AI labs, robotics, drone technology, interactive classrooms, and professional learning environments. It also helped stakeholders imagine how immersive learning could support student engagement, innovation, and future-ready skills development within their institutions. Another exciting aspect was the ability to extend the experience into VR, making the project even more immersive and impactful.

The project also opened discussions around creating future immersive campus tours, virtual innovation centers, and interactive educational showcases for universities and schools. Research and case studies around immersive learning consistently show increased engagement, interaction, and stronger contextual understanding when learners actively explore content rather than passively consume it.

What do you love about ThingLink?

What I love most about ThingLink is how easily it transforms static content into immersive and interactive experiences. It allows creators to combine storytelling, visualization, and learning in a way that feels engaging, intuitive, and future-focused. I also love that ThingLink makes immersive learning accessible without requiring advanced technical expertise.

A single panoramic image can become a fully interactive 360° experience with hotspots, multimedia content, navigation, and even VR compatibility. It gives educators, trainers, and organizations the ability to create meaningful digital experiences that work across multiple devices and audiences. For me, ThingLink is not just a tool — it’s a platform for imagination, innovation, and experiential learning.

Do you have any other project ideas planned?

I would love to continue building immersive educational experiences that combine AI, robotics, STEM, and future-ready learning concepts. Some of the projects I’m currently exploring include immersive university innovation centers, AI-powered smart classrooms, virtual student learning journeys, and interactive professional development environments for educators.

I’m also excited about creating immersive experiences connected to Apple Vision Pro, spatial learning, and extended reality (XR), where users can fully interact with educational environments in more realistic and engaging ways.

My dream is to create a complete immersive educational ecosystem where students, educators, and decision-makers can explore future schools and universities virtually — including smart campuses, AI labs, robotics innovation hubs, and collaborative learning spaces — all through interactive storytelling and immersive technologies.
