New Webinar! Designing for Dignity: Creating Inclusive Learning Experiences

Louise Jones

Accessibility is often discussed through the lens of compliance, but inclusive learning requires something truly deeper. In this webinar, hosted by Louise Jones from ThingLink, we will go beyond the basic requirements of WCAG 2.2 and explore how schools and organizations can design learning experiences that are accessible, multimodal, inclusive, and grounded in dignity.

Wednesday 13th May
9am PDT | 12pm EDT | 5pm BST | 6pm CEST | 7pm EEST

Using ThingLink, Louise will show how immersive learning can help educators and learning designers create the best possible learning experience for every student by making content easier to understand, navigate, revisit, and engage with in ways that go beyond ‘requirements’.

The webinar will explore how ThingLink can support students throughout the school day, from transitions and classroom learning to communication, independence, parents and carer engagement, staff training, and whole school community inclusion.

This session will show how accessible design can become part of daily practice in every school, helping educators create inclusive, multimodal learning experiences that support learners throughout the school day and across the wider school community.

Whether you are working in a special school, mainstream setting, trust, local authority, or learning and development role, this webinar will offer practical ideas for designing learning that helps every learner participate with confidence, agency, and dignity.
