How to Create Immersive Learning with Adobe Express and ThingLink

ThingLink Team

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new integration between ThingLink and Adobe Express, making it easier than ever to design stunning visuals and turn them into rich, interactive learning experiences, all without leaving your creative flow.

What’s New?

Great immersive learning experiences start with a great base image or video. Until now, that meant hopping between apps: design your visual in one tool, download it, then upload it to ThingLink to add your interactivity. Not anymore.

With the new integration, you can:

Create beautiful base content in Adobe Express. Use Adobe Express’s design tools and templates to craft polished images, videos, and graphics perfectly suited to your lesson, training module, or virtual tour.

Bring it straight into ThingLink. Take what you’ve designed in Adobe Express and use it immediately as the foundation for your ThingLink tags, hotspots, and immersive scenes.

Open and edit ThingLink content directly from Adobe Express. No more juggling files or re-uploading. Jump back into your design whenever inspiration strikes, and your changes carry straight through.

Why It Matters

Educators and content creators already tell us that the hardest part of building immersive learning isn’t the interactivity, it’s getting the base visuals right. Adobe Express brings professional-grade design, including its AI-powered creation tools, within reach of anyone, regardless of design skill. Pairing that with ThingLink’s immersive tagging and Scenario Builder means the whole journey, from blank canvas to fully interactive and immersive learning experience, now happens in one connected workflow.

Whether you’re building a virtual tour, escape room, a branching scenario, an interactive infographic, or a training module, this integration removes the friction between designing and bringing content to life.

How to Get Started

  1. Open your ThingLink project.
  2. Choose to create or edit your base image or video with Adobe Express.
  3. Design away, then bring it straight back into ThingLink to add tags, links, transitions to 360 media, audio and more.

Creating Engaging Media for Content inside Tags

Adobe Express has a feature to create talking avatars and graphics, these are perfect media for ThingLink’s versatile Text and Media Tag.
