Introduction to Adele!

I have an MA degree in Art History and early in my career, I worked as Art historian for the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage in the restoration field. I am an art history teacher specialized also in Special needs education since 2010.

In my school I am also Ed tech expert. My passion for technology, digital tools, and interactive, multimodal teaching has been constant throughout my professional journey. My engagement with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) began organically when, working in a vocational institute, I encountered the rich complexity of diverse student needs. This experience sparked a deeper investigation into UDL principles and their practical application in inclusive teaching connected with Thinking routine. I continue to support fellow educators in meaningful technology integration and inclusive pedagogical design as a trainer.

Adele’s Spotlight ThingLink Project

A sparkling visual/audio dynamic way to study the Florence floods and how restoration works.

How was this project experienced by the students?

I implemented this ThingLink resource as an in-depth learning activity . The students engaged positively with this resource.

The interactive nature of ThingLink transformed what could have been a passive viewing of historical photographs into an active exploration where they could click, discover, and build their own understanding of both the tragedy and the human/professional effort required to recover from it. This aligns with my commitment to making learning visible and fostering deeper historical comprehension through digital tools.

What do you love about using ThingLink?

You can add all in one place. It’s dynamic and fascinating for students!

Adele’s Fun Fact!

I love pens, colors, notebooks, pins…I think it is paper fever and I have app fever too!

Thank You Adele!
