<div>Is from 570 million years ago to 230 million years ago. It's formed by six periods: Cambric period, Ordovic period, Siluric period, Devonic period, Carboniferous period and Permian period.</div>
<div>CAMRIC PERIOD:</div><div>TIME: Is from 570 million years ago to 500 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE AND LIVING BEINGS:</div><div>-The Cambrian period produced the most intensive explosion of life ever kwown. The Cambrian explosion led to the emergence of an incredible diversity of life on Earth. Among this diversity we find the chordates, which belong to the genre of vertebrates.</div><div>-It is not yet known which produced the outbreak of biological life in such a way.Maybe it was the oxygen present in the atmosphere due to emissions of cyanobacteria and algae to photosynthesize, allowed the growth of more complex life forms.The atmosphere was also more hospitable as the climate warms and sea level rise, flooding low land masses, creating shallow marinehabitats thatwere idealfor generatingnew forms of life.</div><div><br></div><div>FOSSILS: It appears the TRILOBITES. There's a big amount of this type of fossils.</div>
<div>ORDOVICIAN PERIOD:</div><div>TIME: It's from 500 million years to 435 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE:</div><div>-During the Ordovician glaciation occurred that affected North Africa,part of Gondwana and Armorica. However, this glaciation did't affect the northern hemisphere,and lasts as durable as other glaciations as Precambrian or Carboniferous,but the area covered by glaciers is of the same order.</div><div>-Int he rest of the Earth's climate does't seem so extreme in the Ordovician. It's a time when reefs and evaporites formed in the tropical climate zone.</div><div>-At the end of this period it will be entered into another glacial phase that ended in the Silurian.</div><div><br></div><div>LIVING BEINGS:</div><div>There are two importants events:</div><div>-They appeared the first fish.</div><div>-The beginning of the conquest of the half terrestrial by part of the seaweeds, that develop systems of hold terrestrial to keep them firm.</div><div>-At the end of this period a big quantity of the animals were in extinction.</div>
<div>SILURIAN PERIOD</div><div>TIME: Is from 435 million years ago to 395 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE:</div><div>During this period, the Earth</div><div>entered a long warm greenhouse phase, with warm seas that covered most of the equatorial land masses.In the early Silurian, glaciers were again removed from the South Pole until they almost disappeared in the mid-Silurian.In this period the Earth's climate stabilized.</div><div><br></div><div>LIVING BEINGS:</div><div>In the warm waters they grew large coral reefs.In the seas, the Ammonites and came jawed fish.Also appeared the first terrestrial insects.Psilophytes appeared,horizontal stem plants.</div>
<div>DEVONIAN PERIOD</div><div>TIME: Is from 395 million years ago to 345 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE, LIVING BEINGS AND FOSSILS:</div><div>-The ancient super continent Pangea was ever more unrecognisable: Gondwana slowly went away from the South Pole,while a new super continent was forming in Ecuador; Laurasia.</div><div>-This period is characterized by a warm climate that promoted the development of large forests (proliferation of ferns).</div><div>-Appeared the first arthropods (spiders).</div><div>-In the seas, ammonites predominated.</div><div>-A group of fish developed lobes instead of fins and became the first amphibians.</div><div>-At the end of the period, they invaded the Earth.</div>
<div>CARBONIFEROUS PERIOD</div><div><br></div><div>TIME: Is from 345 million years ago to 280 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE:</div><div>-At first there was a tropical and rainy weather throughout the year. The differences between stations were almost nil.</div><div>-Much of Europe and North America were in Ecuador. -Because of this, the coal plant forms were very similar to plants in the humid tropics and today.</div><div>-This climate uniformity was the result of the great oceanic expansion on Earth, except for the vast mainland, Pangea.</div><div><br></div><div>LVING BEINGS:</div><div>-There were several shallow seas surrounding the supercontinent Pangea.</div><div>-In its waters abundant and varied life forms (brachiopods, bryozoans,arthropods...)</div><div>-Also began to evolve early armored fish and sharks, among other species developed.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
<div>PERMIAN PERIOD</div><div><br></div><div>TIME: Is from 280 million years ago to 230 million years ago.</div><div><br></div><div>CLIMATE AND LIVING BEINGS:</div><div>-It was in this period that formed the super continent Pangea.With it, the planet suffered a serious climate change which caused a very dry climate.</div><div>-The low water circulation in that super continent caused the decrease oxygen atmosphere, causing depletion of forests.In this period, the animals and plants had a difficult situation to survive.</div><div>-According to scientists,in this period the largest number of invertebrate animals in history died.However,reptiles reached the top of the food chain.It is believed that some of these reptiles have great similarities with mammals.</div><div>-Among the marine species that could survive are the sharks, amphibians, molluscs....</div><div>There were conifers and cycads plants and ferns proliferated with seeds that had appeared previously.</div>
