The Sioux made TeePees so when they moved to find food they were easy to make. On the outside, they used buffalo hide, about 5-20 hides. s2.thingpic.com
Many bears lived in the plains area. They were also not commonly hunted for as the buffalo were, but they still used all of the bears contents. s4.thingpic.com
The Sioux cherished the buffalo. They only ate as much of it as they needed and never wasted any. They used the bones for tools, used the hides for teepees, the meat to eat, and even used the bladdar as bowls because they are waterproof s2.thingpic.com
Deer also lived in the plains. The plains didn't hunt the deer/elk as much as they did the buffalo. They used all of the deer's hide, bones, and antlers. s2.thingpic.com
