Cara's Eastern Woodlands Project

I did the eastern woodlands for my project. These artifacts are from Algonquin tribes.
Certain ways of wrapping the stems or cutting the feathers to tell what tribe you were from.
This is a wigwam. They were made by bending tree branches over a wooden frame.
This one of the actual wigwams.
This is birch bark canoe. They were made of birch bark because it's easy to carry and it floats.
The canoes were not only light but they could hold hundreds of pounds.

They would seal the cracks with mud. This kept out the weather.
