Mr. EHS Contestants
<b>Mr. Band: John Schulz </b>“John is the most selfless person, and he puts everyone else first before himself. John was picked as Mr. Band because he always puts a smile on people's face and tries to make it fun for everyone. His special talents include being witty and building robots,” Sarah Schulz (10) said.
<b>Mr. Baseball: Hayden Zadrozinski</b> “Hayden was picked because he is the most outgoing on the team and was the right guy for it. He should win because there’s not a single person he can’t make laugh. His greatest talent is being able to a balance large object on his nose,” Cole Stamper (12) said.
<b>Mr. Basketball: Tanner Sobotka </b>“I think Tanner should win Mr. EHS because of how funny he is. No matter what he does I think the crowd will love it. He was picked by asking Coach Kirby first. I think Drew Albert, Mr. Soccer will be his toughest competition,” Drew Carter (12) said.
“Kyle Boillat should win Mr. EHS because he’s my friend. He can be competitive, but he’s pretty nice and funny, too. Kyle’s biggest competitor might be Omar Uraizee and Jacob Wilkinson. They are both really talented,” Emma Borgmann (12) said.
<b>Mr. Cross Country: Kyle Boillat</b> “Kyle Boillat should win Mr. EHS because he’s my friend. He can be competitive, but he’s pretty nice and funny, too. Kyle’s biggest competitor might be Omar Uraizee and Jacob Wilkinson. They are both really talented,” Emma Borgmann (12) said.
“I think that Cole Reat should win Mr. EHS because for the last four years he has been a key starter for the football team. The town of Eureka revolves around Friday Night Lights and he has been the heart and soul of the team. He is also a fantastic person and a good role model. I don’t know the specifics but everyone, coaches and players, agreed that he should be Mr. Football for the reasons he should win,” Tyler Allen (12) said.
<b>Mr. Football: Cole Reat</b> “I think that Cole Reat should win Mr. EHS because for the last four years he has been a key starter for the football team. The town of Eureka revolves around Friday Night Lights and he has been the heart and soul of the team. He is also a fantastic person and a good role model. I don’t know the specifics but everyone, coaches and players, agreed that he should be Mr. Football for the reasons he should win,” Tyler Allen (12) said.
<b>Mr. Golf: Kyle McGeehan</b> “I think Kyle should win Mr. EHS because he is a really funny guy who's goofy sense of humor should help him win! Typically it’s the seniors who are Mr. EHS and Kyle is a pretty funny guy so Coach Kirby asked him to represent Mr. Golf,” Colby Voss (11) said.
<b>Mr. Hockey: Patrick Cameron</b> “Patrick Cameron was nominated to be Mr. Hockey by the coaches. He should win Mr. EHS because he’s pretty outgoing,” Jacob Gabel (11) said.
<b>Mr. HOSA: Will Henderson</b> “Will was picked by the officers of HOSA, we thought he would enjoy doing it and would have fun with it as well. I think Will should win because I know he has worked really hard and has put in a lot of time and effort into Mr. EHS. Will plays hockey and is very driven and focused on his career,” Emma Petry (12) said.
<b>Mr. Lacrosse: Jordan Moore</b> “I think Jordan should win because it is impossible to not like Jordan. He is a total people pleaser. Jordan asked the coach and talked to the other seniors who were interested and the coach and players decided he was the best option,” Mikey Ward (10) said.
<b>Mr. NHS: Omar Uraizee</b> “I think Omar should win Mr. EHS because he's so outgoing and friendly towards everyone at practice and he’s really a team player. He’s been working really hard and practicing a lot for Mr. EHS and he’s extremely good at his talent as well as the dance and his karaoke. He was picked at the NHS meeting where we all anonymously rose our hands to vote on who would be best represent NHS,” Elizabeth Corbett (12) said.
<b>Mr. Onstage: Devin Cline</b> “Devin is very made to be on Onstage. We thought there would be no one better to represent us. He should win Mr. EHS because he has a lot of passion for the arts,” Mia Zesch (11) said.
“They asked us to nominate people and Grant was nominated and then later on everyone voted and he won! I think Grant should win Mr. EHS because he’s very outgoing, nice and funny,” Megan Lofgreen (11) said.
<b>Mr. Publications: Drew Guise</b> “Basically we asked all the guys that were involved in Publications to be Mr. Publications and it was between Ryan Bircher and Drew Guise. Since Ryan has a fear of public speaking and Drew wanted to do it we decided on him. Personally I think Drew's greatest talent is that he’s incredibly funny and no matter what situation he’s in, he is not afraid to have a good time. After all, the best part of Mr. EHS is being able to see your fellow classmates..for a lack of better words, make a fool out of themselves and have a good time,” Mary Kay Gagnepain (12) said.
<b>Mr. Robotics: Zach Wren</b> “We held nominations for Mr. Robotics and Zach was the best choice. He is very charismatic for a robotics guy and also very sociable. He is also very smart and fearless,” Collin Luft (12) said.
<b>Mr. Rugby: Ted Cocos</b> “I think Ted was picked because he is one of the few seniors who has played rugby for his four years he has been in high school. Also because he has worked hard to be where he is right now. He deserves to win because he is funny and has some sexy moves,” Danny Hahn (11) said.
<b>Mr. Soccer: Drew Albert</b> “Drew should win Mr. EHS because he is good at soccer. He is Mr. Soccer because no one else would probably do it. Besides Joey Owens but Drew is the way to go. It is going to be Drew versus Hayden in this competition,” Jake Naeger (12) said.
<b>Mr. StuCo: Grant Eickel</b> “They asked us to nominate people and Grant was nominated and then later on everyone voted and he won! I think Grant should win Mr. EHS because he’s very outgoing, nice and funny,” Megan Lofgreen (11) said.
<b>Mr. SWAT: Josh Tipton</b> “Josh Tipton was chosen to represent Mr. SWAT for Mr. EHS because he is really firm in his faith. I know he would represent Christ well and SWAT well. Josh also has a super big personality. I think that Josh could win because he is well liked. He is really good at singing. Hopefully it’s his talent for the competition! He's really well rounded as a person,” Taylor Parish (11) said.
<b>Mr. Swimming: Hayden Seidel</b> “Coach Wasson picked Hayden Seidel to represent Mr. Swimming. She thought he’d be the best option. Hayden Seidel should win Mr. EHS because he’s a pretty funny guy. I think he’s got a pretty unique talent. He has a lot of confidence that I think he’ll portray,” Tim Kerr (12) said.
<b>Mr. Weightlifting: Zac Stava </b> “Zac Stava was picked to represent Mr. Weightlifting because he’s a hard worker and has an impeccable attendance record. He should win Mr. EHS because he’s Zac Stava...Everybody loves Stava,” Cam Nisbet (12) said.
<b>Mr. Wrestling: Matt Wuelling</b> “Well we kind of knew Matt was good at singing because of Onstage and stuff so we all decided him to represent Mr. Wrestling. Matt should win because he is a triple threat. He can dance, sing, and play sports,” Alec Hagan (11) said.
<b>Mr. Quiz Bowl: Henry Dieckhaus</b> “Henry is so talented. He can play multiple instruments and whenever I ask him to learn a new song on the guitar he can just listen to it and have it nailed within a day or two. He is also just an all around great guy so I think he would be a perfect Mr. EHS,” Emily Polizzi (12) said.
<b>Mr. ETC: Jacob Wilkinson</b> “I think Jacob should win Mr. EHS because he has so much spirit for our school and is one of the most passionate members of the Eureka Theater Company. He works so hard just to make all of our shows amazing, whether he’s starring in them, or doing all of them behind the scenes work. There was a vote for the candidate,” Macy White (12) said.
<b>Mr. Catpound: Zac Husman</b> “Zac was a big leader for Catpound and I think he’ll do really well. He’s good at yelling out the cheers. I think his biggest competitor will be Hayden Zadrozinski,” Ethan Mourer (12) said.
<b>Mr. Orchestra: Nathan Cheung</b> “Nathan Cheung should win Mr. EHS because everyone loves him. He is everyone's favorite person. His talents are singing and math. He wants to major in math,” Stefan Durchholz (12) said.
