This is one of the batteries for the torch. There are three of them in this product. This is the light bulb of the pen. It has glass covering the wire that carries the electricity. This is a good material to use because it protects the important components and let's the light come through which is the main job of this part. I think that the wire is made out of copper because cooper is good a good conductor of electricity and that's this components job.
This is the lid of the pen. I think it's made Polystyrene because it's brittle and would not smash instantly if I dropped it on the floor. It also has metal bands and clip on it. I think that it also has an aluminium band and clip. www.penmuseum.co.uk Caps and Clips
I think that this is aluminium metal because it his corrosion resistance and light weight.
