Christ’s life was characterized by suffering and the sufferings are both redemptive and an example to believers. They act as if you see a old winged man everyday. As if it is normal to come outside on a rainy night and find a old man with wings in your yard.
The story never says why the winged man came but it never said why he left either. It was up to the reader to take in what he/she read and fill in that with the details they was giving.
