The six segments of the Wheel represent the six general categories of Feelings or Emotions - Peaceful, Powerful, Joyful, Sad, Mad, and Scared
The colors are a way to group the emotions into the general categories.
Distance from the center doesn't imply degree. For instance, "Critical" is neither more nor less intense than "Skeptical."
The Feelings in the outer ring should not be inferred to be subcategories of their immediate inner neighbors. For instance, "Bashful" is not a subset of "Guilty," though both belong in the category of "Sad" Feelings.
Use this Feelings Wheel to help to search for Feelings and put labels to them. Once you've done that, you can also discuss them along the lines of "Tell me what your naming that feeling in that way means to you" and "Tell me more about how it is for you to feel that way.
