SASQUATCH! Camping is an almost requisite part of the Sasquatch! experience, but don’t bother paying extra for a premium pass: The queue for showers is long for everyone. www.sasquatchfestival.com 2017

BURNING MAN Location: Black Rock Desert, Nevada Dates: August 26–September 2 Vogue Pro Tip: Burning Man, easily the most intimidating of the major U.S. festivals, attracts only the very bravest among us. This year, that group will include actress Maggie Grace, Phil Winser, co-owner of Lower East Side hotspot the Fat Radish, and Vogue’s Meredith Melling Burke, according to whom goggles and a lip balm (with SPF) are must-haves “for the occasional sandstorms.” www.burningman.com A city in the desert. Whether at the boisterous Publican, futuristic iNG, or esoteric Next (the latest dining experience from three-Michelin star chef Grant Achatz, which sells tickets rather than offer reservations), beware you might need to upgrade your festival gear before sitting down to dinner. www.lollapalooza.com Lollapalooza is a 4-Day music festival happening Aug. 2-5, 2018 at historic Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

At the end of a long day, the last thing you’ll want to do is wait an hour for a city bus to take you back to the 125th Street stop of the 4, 5, 6 trains. The Governors Ball might very well crash the Uber servers. governorsballmusicfestival.com Governors Ball is a three-day, multi-stage music festival on Randall's Island in New York City onJune 5-7, 2020.
