<div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>POVERTY REDUCTION FORUM TRUST</b></span></div><div>Zimbabwe</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Poverty Reduction Forum Trust (PRFT)</a> is a platform for civil society that aims to address the root-causes and diverse manifestations of poverty in Zimbabwe.</div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots Initiative, PRFT seeks to set up an accountability system in the rural area of Dora, in the district of Mutare, through the development of citizen report cards. This will help PRFT systematically validate its actions and strategies through constituent-led monitoring of their programmes. </div>
<div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>PROJET JEUNE LEADER </b></span></div><div>Madagascar</div><div><br></div><div>Youth-founded, youth-led, and youth-centred organisation, <a href="">Projet Jeune Leader</a> (PJL) is based in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar. Its core work centres around a comprehensive sexual-reproductive health education and leadership development programme integrated into public middle schools. </div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots Initiative, PJL will work with young adolescents, their parents and school administrations in the schools where they are based to establish a coordinated, systematic, and enhanced mechanism to collect feedback from these groups through a mixed methods approach including participatory scorecards, stories of change’s collection, and monthly newsletters. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>ASSOCIATION FEMPLATZ</b></span>Serbie</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">FemPlatz</a> is a women's rights organisation dedicated to the protection of women and girls from gender-based discrimination. </div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots initiative, FemPlatz seeks to implement a pilot project that will develop a mixed methods approach through focus group discussions, interviews and workshops with their constituents. <div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>SOLIDARITY NOW </b></span></div><div>Greece</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Solidarity Now</a> (SN) consists of a network of organisations and people whose goal is to assist and support the populations affected by the economic and humanitarian crises in Greece. Through the provision of services to both the local Greek and migrant populations, it seeks to restore the vision of a strong Europe based on solidarity and open values. </div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots Initiative, SN seeks to bring together individuals from refugee communities, in particular from youth and LGBTIQA+ groups, through providing them with training in multimedia production and thereby build a community of practice in which they will be able to express their daily perceptions, challenges, and dreams through the making and sharing of interactive materials.</div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>CLIMATE WATCH THAILAND</b></span></div><div>Thailand</div><div><br></div><div>Established in late 2008, <a href="">Climate Watch Thailand</a> (CWT) is an independent organisation focusing on advocacy to trigger a change in existing attitudes towards climate change and ultimately achieve climate justice through just, fair and inclusive policies and activities.</div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots Initiative, CWT aims at strengthening and improving how it makes policies in order to ensure their relevance for its primary constituents and support each of them formulate common policy asks that gain wider support. </div>
<div><b><span style="font-size:16px;">JEUNES VOLONTAIRES POUR L'ENVIRONNEMENT (JVE) </span></b></div><div>Benin</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">JVE</a> works on topics related to the environment, natural resource management, renewable energies and climate change. They seek to advocate, sensitise and strengthen the capacities of the communities they work with in Benin to promote sustainable development. </div><div><br></div><div>In the context of the Resilient Roots initiative, JVE’s pilot project aims to strengthen their presence in the communities where they work, by establishing a permanent dialogue with their primary constituents and mechanisms to collect and respond to their feedback. At the same time, their project will aim to increase the engagement of youth and women in the development of JVE’s activities, taking into account their perspectives in the fight against climate change. </div>
<div><b><span style="font-size:16px;">ASSOCIATION POUR LA TRANSPARENCE ET LE DÉVELOPPEMENT (ATED)</span></b></div><div>Mauritania</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">ATED</a> is a civil society organisation created in 2006, working for the protection and promotion of human rights, good governance, transparency and the fight against corruption. They do so by strengthening the capacities of local actors and their constituents on these issues. </div><div><br></div><div>The project that ATED will be implementing in the frame of the Resilient Roots initiative will strengthen their ability to better communicate and listen to their primary constituents to arrive to common understanding about the organisation’s objectives and ways to achieve these goals together. This will strengthen the accountability of their CSO partners within this project and beyond. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>PALESTINIAN CENTRE FOR COMMUNICATION AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES (PCCDS) </b></span></div><div>Palestine</div><div><br></div><div>Founded in Hebron in 2009 by a group of young activists, <a href="">PCCDS</a> works to empower the most marginalised and disadvantaged groups, namely youth, women and the elderly, on their social, political and economic rights. It also strengthens youth capacities around the topics of democracy and human rights.</div><div> </div><div>In their work, PCCDS has identified as a challenge the limited impact and decision-making role members of their General Assembly and primary constituents have within the organisation. Therefore, in the scope of the Resilient Roots initiative, PCCDS is using mixed participatory methods, such as a social media bus, a free hotline and face-to-face meetings with their constituents to be more accountable to the people they work with. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>VIDEO VOLUNTEERS</b></span></div><div>India </div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Video Volunteers</a>’ (VV) mission is to create a vibrant media movement in which the world’s most marginalised citizens can right the wrongs they witness, become key players in the global digital content revolution, and use their voices to shape the direction of their countries. </div><div><br></div><div>In the scope of the Resilient Roots initiative, VV will learn to co-create the organisation’s future with grassroots Community Correspondents across the 180 poorest districts of India. Specifically, VV will identify several recurring internal &amp; external problems that their primary constituents keep raising and use feedback and co-creation to arrive to joint solutions. <div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>EDUCO </b></span></div><div>Nicaragua</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Educo</a>’s work seeks to optimise child welfare through child protection projects about health, nutrition, participation and, above all, quality education. </div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots initiative, Educo aims to build a child-centred and child-led accountability model that takes into account their perspectives and interests. This model will be developed jointly with 40 children, parents, community leaders and the local organisation Tuktan Sirpi. <div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>KUSI WARMA</b></span></div><div>Peru</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Kusi Warma</a> (“happy child” in Quechua) is an NGO funded in 1997, with the mission to give voice to children and adolescents living in poverty, and visibilise their rights as citizens. </div><div><br></div><div>The objective of their Resilient Roots pilot project is to develop an institutional accountability policy, in partnership with the students, parents and teachers of a secondary school in Ventanilla, Lima. Kusi Warma will use theatrical pedagogy to facilitate the construction of the policy. Participants will be trained in the technique of theatre and will participate in the construction of the script, logistics and staging of the policy, with resources adapted to the context.</div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>AVANZAR </b></span></div><div>Argentine</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">Avanzar por el Desarrollo Humano</a> (for human development) works to improve the quality of life and strengthen the capacities of the most vulnerable sectors of Buenos Aires, working particularly in emergency slums. Avanzar uses tools like microcredits, capacity buildings sessions and micro-entrepreneurial activities, with the purpose of creating alternative work opportunities. </div><div><br></div><div>In the context of Resilient Roots, Avanzar aims to become more accountable to their primary constituents and bring them closer to the organisation through neighbourhood councils. At the same time, the councils will help share news and activities with their communities about Avanzar’s activities, help them better understand the needs of slum residents where they work, and use feedback to the programmes put forth by the organisation. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>MARVIVA </b></span></div><div>Costa Rica</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">MarViva Foundation</a> is a CSO present in Panama, Colombia and Costa Rica, with the mission to promote the conservation and sustainable use of coastal resources, goods and services, through advocacy work at the national and regional level. </div><div><br></div><div>Their Resilient Roots project aims to strengthen and systematise accountability mechanisms to La Red del Golfo, a network of grassroots organisations working to develop alternative production schemes that respect the sustainability of marine environments. At the same time, these mechanisms will help MarViva better measure the impact of their work with their communities; and support La Red develop their own accountability tools, making them more resilient and eventually a self-sustaining network. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>OVD-INFO </b></span></div><div>Russia</div><div><br></div><div><a href="">OVD-Info</a> is an independent human rights media project. Its mission is to collect, analyse and share data on political repression in Russia. The project monitors detentions and other cases of political pressure, informs media and human rights organisations on the state of political repression in Russia, and provides legal assistance to activists. </div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the Resilient Roots Initiative, OVD-Info seeks to set up a dashboard to serve as a data visualisation tool which will help evaluate the efficiency of its projects, promote crowdfunding campaigns and motivate their constituents to play a stronger role in the organisation’s decision-making. </div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><b>RESILIENT ROOTS PARTNER </b></span></div><div>Uganda </div><div><br></div><div>Resilient Roots’ partner in Uganda works to advance the health, welfare, and socioeconomic development of rural communities through HIV/Aids prevention and protection, sexual education and medical care, among others.</div><div><br></div><div>In the frame of the initiative, the organisation aims to systematically include its primary constituents in the accountability process through collecting their feedback about the ways they are being served by the organisation, and make consistent adjustments to their activities accordingly in order to improve service delivery.</div>
