<div>Rere atu taku manu kōrero i te ike o Ingleborough. </div><div>Ingleborough is the maunga that I fgeel most spiritually connected to. It was the maunga that we lived within sight of when myhusband and I met and had our two boys. It is a maunga we climbed in all weathers and saw in all seasons. </div><div><a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/easegill/14024204203/in/photolist-nngHjc-egjW7F-4GfbNL-4GfdMd">Image by Anne Robertson CC-BY</a></div><div><br></div>
<div>Ko Easegill te awa. E hārō nei i runga ake o Easegill</div><div>Easegill is a small stream that rises on Casterton Fell, and after a very short journey above ground it plunges underground. It is a stream I spent many years in close contact with as I explored the caves through which it flowed. This photo is of <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/arg_flickr/8422835233/in/photolist-4bdMys-dQiet8-24gYQDf-oFupse-oFuB7C-2cTG7n6-oFuwwe-oXWweP-oFvYL4-oXWCtx-Sr18MM-2CJGQT-Sr19TV-SoeNJs-oFuKCV-SqVGKv-TqVeJh">Easegill Kirk</a> - the water only flows here when the caves are full. It used to be used as a place to congregate and pray in the reign of Henry VIII when they were banned from churches.</div>

<div>Ko te Tiriti o Waitangi te waka. This is a hard one for pākeha and immigrants from other countries. How did we get here? I could put the flight number of the plane we came in but it's meaningless. So I use Te Tiriti o Waitangi as my waka because it represents the way that I want to live my life now I am in Aotearoa - living by the articles of the treaty - letting the treaty guide my journey and help me navigate in a new country. </div><div><br></div> soundcloud.com Listen to Ko Te Tiriti o Waitangi te waka by robeanne #np on #SoundCloud
