While reading Persepolis I began to have many questions about women's rights, and the intense and extreme change that happened after the revolution. Looking through the book I realized my interest and questions had come from this page in the book. It prompted me to see the true difference that happened to women's lives before and after the revolution.
I find these two last panels extremely interesting showing that one day out of no where in there mind they are given this veil and told to wear it, but in the next panel it shows that it makes they were all just having a good time, and did not think seriously of the veil.
