The Water Cycle
The Sun evaporates water from lakes and oceans.
As the air rises, it cools. The tiny droplets of water crowd together and form a cloud. Wind blows the cloud towards land.
Precipitation: Rain, Sleet, Snow, Hail.
Oceans, lakes, streams, and rivers are all sources of groundwater where water is stored.
