Slug: Cow Thief - Reporter Colleen O'Brien is working on a story where somebody stole a plaster cow in Coeur d'Alene and took some very very inappropriate pictures with it. Update: Apparently a source will not speak, so that kills that.
I'm taking the photo, but there's my phone. twitter.com
Melissa also has a new Facebook fan page she's posting to. Check out her timeline cover. It's of her lounging in front of Mount St. Helens on what appears to be a media set up of the sorts. www.facebook.com
Slug: Airport Emergency - After this photo was taken, this was scratched from the assignment board.
Live in Riverfront Park, the U.S. Navy band performed on Thursday evening to a park crowd. They're a cover band with a wide repertoire of classic rock, country and blues. The female lead sang Barracuda. Here's a clip of the performance cut off at 1:59 due to technical difficulties. We were sad too. The band performs again at Deer Park High School on Friday, May 18th and before the Shock game later that evening. They'll be in Riverfront Park again on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. and 6-7:45 p.m. www.youtube.com
Part time reporter Erik Loney announced during this morning's meeting that he is now a real firefighter. He put out a car fire all by himself in Kootenai County. Congratulations.
Slug: Soap Lake - A potential name change for Soap Lake, north of Moses Lake, is getting a little dirty. Today's the meeting where it's all decided. Previous Coverage: Community ponders possible Soap Lake name change. moseslakegrantcounty.kxly.com
