Project: Alberta Clipper Pipeline Expansion z Operator: Enbridge Inc. z Origin/destination: Starting in Saskatchewan and North Dakota’s Bakken field, the expansion, will take the oil from the region to a connection with Enbridge’s mainline system at Cromer, Man. z Current status: Completed by late 2012

Project: Keystone Cushing-to-Gulf Coast link Operator: TransCanada Corp. Origin/destination: Cushing, Oklahoma, to Houston and Port Arthur on Texas Gulf Coast. Status: Right of way acquisition. Was announced after the Obama Administration rejected initial permit for Keystone XL, which originally included the Gulf Coast link, stretching from Canada to Cushing, Okla.

Project: Lyssy to Houston Pipeline Operators: Enterprise Products Origin/destination: First phase will connect Lyssy to Sealy Terminal, west of Houston, carrying Eagle Ford crude. Second phase will extend line to Houston. Current status: Completion May 2012

Project: Gulf Coast Access Operator: Enbridge, Enterprise Products Origin/destination: Flanagan, Ill. to Cushing Okla. to Houston Tex. Status: Open season announced, start up mid-2014

Project: Mid-Continent Expansion Operator: Plains All American Pipeline Origin/destination: Will connect Plains’ Cushing, Okla. terminal and parts of its Kansas and Colorado systems with the Colorado-Cushing White Cliffs pipeline. Current status: In service

Project: Athabasca Pipeline Twinning Project Operator: Enbridge Origin/destination: Kirby Lake Terminal, near Winifred Lake and ending at the existing Battle River Terminal, located in the Hardisty, Alta. Status: Application filing with the Energy Resources Conservation Board and other regulatory authorities in spring 2012.
